Thriller Novels political thriller, action-adventure thriller, medical thriller
Often we get excited while reading
novels
and get carried away with the plot and narration. What if it is a thriller novel? The excitement gets bigger and the hidden insanity takes us in. It is a genre of fiction story in which hair-raising heroic adventures of the lead role smashing the evil and devil out there glues the readers. And the best thriller writers did the same and so were the readers too.
‘From Russia, with Love’ comes from James Bond series by Ian Flemming is a generic novel that many had read. Of course, It is of the same plot what you see Janes Bong in action on screen. ’The Silence of Lambs’ is a suspense horror and thriller novel which narrates the psychological behavior of serial killers. Few of the best thriller stories that blackmailed the readers are: ‘The Spy Who Came In From Cold’ by John Le Carre, ‘In the Shadow of the Law’ by Kermit Roosevelt, ‘The Andromeda Strain’ by Michael Crinchton, ‘In Cold Blood’ by Truman Captoe, ‘The Lady killer’ by Martina Cole and many more.
Most of the thriller stories are spy and action oriented that are similar to detective stories. Often these plots or stories are later taken into movies.
Mystery Thriller Novels
at once raise anticipation, excitement, uncertainty and suspense in their plots. The feelings are more stimulated than any other type of novels like fiction, love, comedy or a family drama. Psychological behavior is more perceived in the former novels with action sequences mixed like of serial killers, murders, rapists and spying.
These thriller novels can be categorized into political thriller, action-adventure thriller, medical thriller, spy thriller, legal thriller, techno thriller and few
romance novels
are also thrillers. Whatever might be the category majority thriller novels have bundles of action and adventure scenes where in the climax hero stops all the mind games of villain and bursts him out. Else in the case of spying or political thrillers hero comes out logically from the prey by villains. Sometimes the plot and the narration could make the novel horror too.
Few of the best known thrill novel writers are Joseph Kanon, James Patterson, John Twelve Hawks, James Twining, Mo Hayder, and Tess Gerritsen to name few. It is all about the stimulations that you few when you read a thriller novel when compared to other novels that makes the real difference. And the stimulations are also in higher levels.
